Scale check: place the 123 Robot (80 mm across) on the field, click one edge of its body then the opposite edge. If the measured value is off by more than ~5%, re-click the corners or correct the square size.

A blob must hold position for ~0.7 s to be confirmed as a robot; anything larger than cells (a reaching arm, a person) or jumping further than 2 squares per frame is ignored. Confirmed robots survive brief occlusion for ~2 s before their track is dropped.

Only the game board scores — once a robot has left its start territory, driving into any player’s start territory ends its run (score stands). Walls (field edges and the centre gap) stop the robot but not the program.

Detection is background-subtraction per grid cell — works best with even lighting and a matte field. Layout and settings save automatically.
